New Orleans is my home.

I love spending time with my family in a city with so much vibrancy and life. I have lived all over the world being raised as an Army Brat and working overseas as a Peace Corps volunteer, but I have found a home here in this great city and am delighted to be raising my three kids as New Orleanians.

I graduated with a BA in Psychology from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ in 1998. I went on to earn a MA in Counseling and Program Development in 2001 from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. I have extensive experience teaching, coaching, and counseling in various public schools in the Northeast and most recently at a local public French Immersion school here in New Orleans where I was able to put my French speaking skills to good use.

I bring years of clinical experience to my private practice having worked closely with adolescents and their families on anxiety, depression, classroom behavior, suicidal ideation, self-harm, withdrawal, ADD/ADHD, restorative justice, LGBTQ+, college application process, career exploration, standardized test preparation, academic portfolio development, and a host of other issues.

As a survivor of hyperemesis, a rare disorder characterized by severe and persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, I am committed to supporting female identifying individuals and their families as they navigate through the challenging perinatal phase of life. I am a board member of the Louisiana Chapter of Postpartum Support International, and I dedicate a substantial amount of my time to advocacy work. I am also current on research and best practices as it relates to reproductive mental health.
